Importance of Fiber Rich Diet For diabetic People:
Aim of the diet of diabetic is to keep the blood sugar level under control. The sugar level has to be stable always. Therefore, the ingredients included in the diet of diabetic are of utmost importance in maintaining stable sugar level.

There are two main types of fibers insoluble and fiber.
1. Insoluble Fiber

2. Soluble fiber:
Soluble fiber is mostly found in potatoes, citrus fruits, oats and dried beans. If included in the diet of diabetic, it helps to maintain cholesterol levels and may reduce the risk of blood pressure problems. Soluble fibers also have benefits in maintaining a healthy heart.
You may also include supplements for soluble fiber in the diet of diabetic. A soluble fiber supplement known as Psyllium, which is found in regular breakfast cereals and in a special seed husk is the best option to consider.
Finally, while including soluble fibers in the diet of diabetic, it is the important for diabetic people to increase their daily water or liquid consumption.
